The Story of the Mesa
If you’ve been here a while, you know we draw a deep inspiration from the style of the late sixties and early seventies.
There’s a certain romanticism, a feeling of nostalgia and a little edge we just can’t get enough of. Joni Mitchell in a field of flowers, a roadtrip, Woodstock, Joan Baez and Dylan, the California coast.
We kept dreaming about the same pair of vintage boots. The kind you’d throw on for a long drive up the coast with no plans beyond where to stop for coffee. And that’s where the Mesa boot was born.
She’s all the things we loved about the past, but reimagined with the best materials we could find: super soft veg tanned leather, a stacked wooden heel, and finished with a delicate braided detail.
