Hello from Bird of Flight!

I'm Naomi, the founder, designer, and dreamer behind our woman-owned shoe brand here in the Bay Area. From designing each collection to ensuring you have an amazing experience with us, I pour my heart into every detail.

My vision is to create shoes that feel as good as they look, complementing your individual beauty and style. We use insanely soft, vegetable-tanned leathers and natural finishes, so each pair is made to last and love.

We consciously stand against the "fast fashion" cycle. Our collections are produced in small batches in family-owned Brazilian factories where craftspeople are paid fair, livable wages. We follow strict environmental standards, use as little plastic as possible in the making and shipping of our shoes.  I aim to create shoes that not only look beautiful, feel amazing but will also  safely return to the earth.

The name "Bird of Flight" is personal to me—it captures the magical feeling of soaring in my dreams and a special connection to my grandmother. I love that our shoes can be a part of your journey.
